Accepts audio from line level output or headphone jack, from sound cards in
computers, walkman type players, boom boxes, video conferencing audio, PolyCom
units, speaker phones etc., just to name a few applications.
- Headphone can still be used when 1-AID is in use without Y cord.
- Stereo is retained in ear phones.
- Mono or summed output. Left and Right signal combined into single XLR output
connector.
- Output is balanced out. Can be plugged into a mixer directly or any balanced
microphone jack in a public meeting room.
- Audio is only directed to the output when the switch is activated.
- Balancing switches are under lid to prevent accidental movement once the
switch positions are correct for the equipment.
- If signal is to strong for the input and distortion is audible, signal can
be reduced by 20 or 40 dB.
- If ground mismatch causes hum, ground lift will likely remove the hum, buzz
or noise.
- Lid or Body of 1-AID can be attached to a table top, under a desk, counter
etc. and be out of view, yet instantly available.

The AS-2 is designed
specifically for use with Delta 44 and Antex sound cards.
These cards are used exclusively by FTRGold for their court
recording systems. The AS-2 takes the balanced line level
output from professional mixers and adapts the XLR connectors
to a DB-9 multi-pin cable supplied with the sound card when
the card is ordered from FTRGold.
Input connectors, four (4) - 3 pin XLR
female.
Output connector, one (1) - 9 pin, DB-9
Heavy cast Aluminum box. Will withstand
abuse without failure.
The AS-3 can be attached under a table,
desk or counter etc., out of view and out of the way. |
